Poems by Charles Baudelaire

Charles Baudelaire

French author, born on 09/04/1821 at Paris (France), deceased on 31/08/1867 at Paris (France).

In 1857, Charles Baudelaire published "The Flowers of Evil," a collection that earned him a trial for offending public morals. Between spleen and ideal, he brought the modern city, melancholy, and the beauty of evil into his work, paving the way for all modern poetry. He is also the author of "Petits poèmes en prose" and the translator of Edgar Poe.
