Insects

Fables and poems about insects, from the grasshopper to the spider, by way of flies and hornets. La Fontaine wrote “The Grasshopper and the Ant”, probably the fable most often learned by heart in France, and “The Fly and the Ant”. Prévert and his snails, then Victor Hugo with “J’aime l’araignée”, complete the theme.
