Félix Arvers

French author, born on 23/07/1806 at Paris (France), deceased on 07/11/1850 at Paris (France).

Félix Arvers, a Parisian poet and playwright, owes his place in history to a single poem, the famous "Sonnet d'Arvers." This sonnet of secret love, which begins "Mon âme a son secret, ma vie a son mystère," appeared in "Mes heures perdues" (1833). A friend of Alfred de Musset and Alfred Tattet, to whom he addressed poems, he wrote mainly for the stage.
