Happiness

Poems and fables about happiness, its simple pleasures and its illusions. Rimbaud enjoys a stop “At the Green Cabaret”, Baudelaire dreams of faraway places in “Exotic Perfume”, Verlaine welcomes the end of winter and Ronsard sings of the Bellerie spring. With “The Man Who Ran After Fortune”, La Fontaine reminds us that happiness does not always come to those who chase it.
